It is perfect for a waterproof, hygienic, cushiony, and the puppies seem to get pretty good footing on it, too-which is a huge plus.... I didn't think they would
love the whekping box pad. it is great.
I use one of the raised garden beds as a whelping box. I went with the 48x60 pad even though my box is 48x48. The extra 12" stick out the front under the wall and gives me somewhere comfy to kneel. (It was freshly unboxed in the photo the cover is tight once it relaxed fully)
I have used Primo pads for over 10 years for my dogs and they love them. Highly recommend!
Whelping Box Pad
The only thing I can use for my working GSD puppy’s crates without being destroyed! Helps keep him comfortable and cool. Super easy to clean too. Will never not use Primo pads for all my future crates.
I have these in my impact crates, precision wire crates, vari kennels, and in the 3x3 puppy pen. So easy to clean, and really durable.
