Sizing InformationHOW TO DETERMINE YOUR SIZE FOR WIRE CRATES ONLY Measure the outside of the wire crate. DO NOT measure the pan. Our standard sizes fit most standard crates. If you do not see the size you want in our standard pad sizes, please contact us for a custom size quote.
Lockdown SystemIs your dog an aggressive chewer? Does he dig up his bedding and try to push it aside? Do you have a puppy that may be going through a chew ing stage? If so you will want to request our “lockdown system” with your pad. There is no additional charge for this. Primo Pads offer re-closeable zip ties that are strategically placed along all four sides of your dog crate pads. To use this feature you must remove the plastic tray from your crate. Secure ties to the underside bars of your metal crate. Make sure that the ties are under the crate where the dog can not get to them. The ties can be opened and the pad removed from your dog crate pad for cleaning and then reattached.
I have a 87 pound giant Schanzuer that has torn every dog bed, blanket, or towel I have put in his crate while I'm away. EXCEPT this pro pad, I figured with a 30 day guarantee wouldn't hurt to try. Ended up ordering a 2nd one for his shoe kennel a month later. Easy to clean, they don't hold a stench, and he loves it! 10/10 recommend
1 year old Great DNe has destroyed everything I hVe put in his crate... until Primo Pad! Going on 6 months now and it is perfect and super comfy! I'm a lifetime fan!
Very excited to have our primo pad. My puppy would destroy and sometimes eat bedding/blankets. They were not safe. This was a custom order and we ordered the zip ties but I removed them because the fit is so snug. Wonderful customer service with placing the custom order and love the option of the tie downs. They are removable. Only room for improvement would be reinforcing the material where the tie downs are. It’s just a slit in the material and I could see that ripping with lots of use over time. I really hope this lasts. No product is indestructible to a dog unless it’s metal so you have to really know your dog. My puppy destroys anything soft and plush. She was fine with the plastic crate liner. She hasn’t ever played with anything vinyl so I’m hopeful that doesn’t appeal to her. Plush is too tempting and easy to destroy so I think if your dog is a mild chewer you should have some luck. Any determined dog would still destroy this. The material is tough and does provide cushion for my dog and I’m excited for her to have something softer to lay on. I love the green color I was gonna go with tan or black but the green looks great. Thank you Primo Pad, hoping this lasts long!
I have a 14 month old mastiff/rottweiler mix. He stopped wanting to go in his crate recently. When we got the pad he started going in more willingly, and I think it’s because it was more comfortable
