Dakota 283 Pads

My dog drools in the car so I needed something that was not going to just soak it up along with the dirt from the agility ring. So far, so good. I like that she is not lying on the hard plastic crate and the fact that I can just take it out and hose the pad off when it gets gross. It fits the crate perfectly and does not move around which I believe will keep her safer in case of an accident.

I recently ordered two Primopads for the XL Dakota 283 Kennels. One in pink and one in purple. First, the color matching of the pads to the kennels was astounding. Once the pad is pushed into the bottom of the kennel, it's tough to discern that there is anything there it blends in that well! The fit and dimensions was uncannily good. There is a small little rim around the pad that actually helps "snap/grip" the pad into the base of the kennel and hold it there. My Great Pyrenees pups like to explore the woods and river on the weekends. These pads have been a lifesaver for their wet, fishy-smelling, sand-laden flops of exhaustion for the drive home after playing so hard. The thick, well stitch vinyl covering makes cleanup a breeze and the pad is firm but not too hard. Best money I've spent in a while. Will probably order a second set as backup for the camping tent!

Primo Pads for the Dakota283 Crash Crates are a snug fit. If a dog gets carsick while riding in the crate, the pads are easily popped out of crate and easily washed off. Nice product.

Title says it all! Bought a tan pad for my olive green XL G3 and it is a perfect fit. Shipping was exactly as described on the website. Definitely recommend. I see why they are such a loved product!

Exactly what I needed

I’ve used PrimonPads for many years and love having them for my dogs to lay on while we travel. They’re easy to clean and fit nicely with the Dakota 283 crates.

Didn’t fit flush with the seams of the crate so dog was able to get at the sides of the pad. I have many primo pads in my ruffland crates are such an excellent fit. This was not a precise fit.

Pads fit a variety of crates very well. Only complaint was I had a discount code from Govx but thought it would be in addition to purchasing in bulk discount but in instead it replaced it no additional discounts. One did have a slight cut on back side. Love how they clean up.

This is my third Primo pad and I love them. So durable and the dogs love them. The fit in my Dakota kennel is perfect, as have the ones for my Rufflands. 100% recommend these pads.

This is my first time buying Primo Pads but they came highly recommended, and they will now be my go-to! Perfect fit in my brand new Dakota kennels. I wanted a little bit of cushion for my dogs' sakes and also protection for the bottoms of the crates so they don't get all scratched up and dirty. These are exactly that! I'm very happy that I can take them out and clean them easily so I don't have to lug my crates out of the car and hose them out. I also am happy that they are snug enough in the crates that my puppy hasn't figured out how to dig or chew at them!

I’ve ordered 6 or 7 Primo Pads and they never disappoint. Great quality and craftsmanship. Dakota sizes were unavailable for a while and I ordered a custom size. It was off by about 1-2”. They quickly responded to my concern, sent me a perfect replacement, and told me to donate the incorrect size to the humane society or shelter. Awesome customer service. I will only order Primo Pads. Forever customer.

I ordered three pads, a couple custom, including a pad for my gunner. I have an older gen XL and the measurements just weren’t matching what the choices were online (could be my error?) so I went custom. I completely forgot about the cutout shape on the gunners for the tie downs so the square shape didn’t work… oh well. Perhaps putting a note to customers in the custom order info as a reminder that gunners have the unique cut out shape? Otherwise my other pads are awesome, love them!

I bought XL Ruffland and XL Dakota 283 and they fit tight and are tough! My shorthair is doing fine with them. These also will be easy to clean too, will not absorb anything. Great product!

I do all the pads we just ordered. We have a few few dogs that do like to dig in their kennels. So a few were destroyed in the first couple of days. For the others they have been holding up very well and we like that our dogs can have some type of cushion in their kennel that’s easy to keep clean.
